DATALAKE:GROUNDTRUTH
Franz Rosati

A collection of AI-generated scenarios unfolds against a backdrop of complex, ever-evolving sounds. Moving images alternate, evoking the struggle between nature and technology and their dialectical reconfiguration. Datalake: Groundtruth is a digital audiovisual installation where the landscape element emerges from the screens. This element flows through hypothetical realities in constant interplay, breaking down the boundaries of reality in search of new forms. The artist gathers vast amounts of information from fragments of literary essays, web news, and novels—remnants of the cultural visual and auditory landscapes we know. The author reshapes these fragments to create a subtle dialogue that represents a violent struggle between the forces of nature and the power of technology.
